Since transforming into the ever-stylish Alice Cullen for her role in
Twilight,
Ashley Greene has had more than her own fair share of
glamorous moments on the red carpet. And now, with an upcoming special on the CW,
Fashion Forward: Making It, the 23-year-old is getting another opportunity to solidify her mark as a style maven. Tapped to host the one-hour, behind-the-scenes look at the ins and outs of the fashion industry, Ashley gets to dish on designers like
Gwen Stefani and
Justin Timberlake—an opportunity that the actress still seems surprised by.
“The word fashionista has popped up a time or two which I’m very grateful for and humbled by,” the onscreen vampire told PEOPLE. “The opportunity came up and I jumped at it.”
Her favorite part of the hosting gig? “It was really cool to be talking about a lot of young designers and fresh faces and forces in the fashion industry that are essentially making their mark in fashion like I’m making mine.”
