Fan Takes The Ocean to Gil Birmingham!

My Twilife reader @ Vixen_Vamp tweeted me telling me about her trip to the Twi Tour in Phoenix & meeting Gil:

...Sure as shit Gil TWEETED ME!!!! He told me to bring the ocean, he heard it was hot in Phoenix!.. So I set out to get Gil the ocean. It was tuesday, my flight was leaving on thursday, I had ONE day to make this happen... Wednesday, I would take my daughter and we would go to the ocean... so who would have thought when the weather man said 'chance of rain" he would actually mean STAY IN YOUR HOUSE... Tornado warnings, thunder, lightning, 10.5 inches of rain (8 in a 4 hour period), the water came up over the hood of my little Mitsubishi Eclipse... Did that stop me? HELL NO. I braved it all to get Gil his Ocean...

I packed it away with my shampoos and perfumes, effectively hiding it from TSA... teehehe, we boarded our plane in Eastern NC and made our way to PHOENIX ARIZONA!

Here is a pic of me and Gil with his ocean... I hope he remembers it. I always will!

A Little About The Gal Behind My Twilife

It was love at Chapter one! And ever since I have been borderline obsessed with the Twilight Saga! After I read all the books and watched 'Twilight' in the Theatre, I would visit all the Twilight web sites I could find. One day I decided to start my own site & much to my husband's dismay, My Twilife was born!

I am a 27 year old wife, and mother of 2 and I do this blog alone....it is crazy at times, but I love it! Besides blogging, I love reading, watching movies, hanging out with my wonderful family, watching my children discover new things, I love taking pictures & being outdoors!

I am a paparazzi free site, which means I will not post pictures of the stars doing day to day activities or post gossip from the magazines. I will use paparazzi pictures from Red Carpet Events or Appearances cast members knowingly pose for. (sometimes set pictures will be used at my discretion)

I try my best to keep you up to date with all the Twilight Saga News & recently started the "There's Life Outside The Saga?!" feature which keeps you informed of the cast's other projects!

Death Cab For Cutie Talks About Their 'New Moon' Single

MTV has an interview with Death Cab For Cutie, who have written the song “Meet Me On the Equinox” for the New Moon soundtrack:

"We wanted to record a song that we loved and we would use on an album or anywhere and submit it to this process, and if they passed on it — if they were like, 'Hey, you know what? This isn't quite right for us, thanks a lot for trying' — we'd still have a song out that we'd be proud of, that we could put somewhere else. For us, it was a no-lose situation," Harmer explained. "What was most important for us was to get the material right first ... and it tied into these films, especially 'New Moon,' because if you strip away all the vampirism and the werewolves and the Northwest and everything, basically, the 'Twilight' series is just a big romance novel. It's a big story about love, and that's a major theme for us."

And as luck would have it, the tune did get picked, which means Death Cab are now gearing up to shoot a video for the song (they'll film it later this week in Toronto). And though details about the clip are still slim, Harmer seems to be onto something with his idea — one that will no doubt endear him even further to "Twilight" fans.

"The safe route would be to go with the straight performance video, like that Paramore video. But I don't think we're going to be outside in the woods ... you know, been there, done that. I don't think we're going to try to cut a narrative in where we're all dressed up like vampires running around with fake teeth in," he laughed. "I'm of the mind-set that the more Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner you can throw in the video, the more popular the video is going to be. Nobody wants to look at us, so we'll probably be standing in the shadows."

Shooting today – Kristen Stewart’s “Bella” with her mom played by Sarah Clarke who arrived yesterday in Vancouver shooting a scene that’s supposed to be “Florida” at a beach house while “Edward” hides inside from sun.

Ashley Greene's movie Summer's Moon (previously titled Summer's Blood) is available for pre-order here. It is set to be released Nov. 10th, just days before New Moon.

I didn't post the trailer because, quite frankly it scares the crap out of me...

Taylor is going to be on the cover of the October issue of Teen Vogue . It will be on sale September 8th 2009.

Rob Singing & Me Dreaming of What Could Be...

I can't tell you how many times I have listened to Never Think on the Twilight soundtrack...I swear my kids have it memorized. I just melt at the sound of Rob's voice, and wish so bad he was contributing to the New Moon Soundtrack.

More than that, I wish I could see Rob perform...in some intimate little setting...in a coffee shop in a quaint little town...where it feels like he is singing to me alone...where he invites me up to his room in a cute little bed and breakfast outside this quaint little town...

*shudders, snaps back to reality*

Well I can dream can't I?! But, since that is never going to happen, here are some videos of Rob singing.
