"Twilight hunk and increasingly in-demand big screen heartthrob Cam Gigandet surfaced in Los Angeles Friday, at work on his new comedy Easy A.

The film is part of a long tradition of literary classics set in contemporary high school--this one a lighter nod to The Scarlet Letter.

Costarring Gossip Girl's Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes and Emma Stone, Cam will help explore a fantasy world where a high school gal must don the letter "A" after losing her virginity."
